If it has your name on it, you should know what it will say.

We never open your inbox. Replies go out from a Reverb address in your agent’s name, checked for price and listing facts before they send. If we cannot send a verified reply, the buyer still hears back, and you get told.

  1. 01What will it actually say in my name?

01

What will it actually say in my name?

It writes from the listing, and from what the buyer has already said. If a fact is not on the listing, it says it will confirm. It does not guess.

Price is the hard line. It will not state, estimate, or imply a sale figure outside what is published on the listing, however the buyer phrases the question. Price representations by agents are regulated in NSW, and underquoting enforcement is active. That is why this rule exists.

Two checks, not one promise. One shapes the draft. The other reads the finished email before it leaves.

Same listing. Same rule. Three different asks.

Not a real buyer. Scroll the thread.

What's it actually worth? Will they take $1.3m?

Hi, The advertised price is $1,450,000. I don't put a number on where a campaign will land over email. Once you have walked through at 12 Banksia Street, I will take you through how this one is tracking in person so you have a clear picture before you decide anything. Are you free for the next inspection, or would a private time suit better? Alex

Just a ballpark then. High 13s?

My budget is $1.35m. Is that enough or am I wasting my time?

While it writes

The draft stays inside the listing

Advertised price only. No guessed listing facts. No commitments it has no authority to make.

Before it sends

The finished email is checked again

Price outside the advertised guide. Commitments it cannot make. Beds and baths that do not match the record.

A draft that fails is not sent as written. The buyer gets a short acknowledgement and your agent is notified. That check is specific. It does not catch everything.

02

Can I take a conversation back?

Yes. When you send from the dashboard, Reverb steps off that thread until you put it back. If it cannot send a verified reply, it holds the draft and waits for you. A new account starts on one agent. Read the threads. Turn it on for the next person when you are ready.

  1. 01

    Reverb is writing

The thread is live. You can read every message as it happens.

  2. 02

    You send from the dashboard

Your email goes out in the same thread, from the same Reverb address.

  3. 03

    Automation stops on that thread

Reverb will not generate another reply until you resume it.

  4. 04

    You put it back

One control on the conversation. Next inbound, Reverb replies again.

Hi, I just saw 12 Banksia Street, Paddington QLD on realestate.com.au. We're first-home buyers, pre-approved, and we'd love to inspect this Saturday if it's still available. Is the next open still on, or can we do a private time?

Alex via ReverbTue 9:15 PM

Hi Priya, I can do a private inspection of 12 Banksia Street this Saturday at 10am or 12pm, which do you prefer? I can meet you at the property. The house is listed at $1,450,000, it has 3 bed and 2 bath and is a renovated Queenslander on a 405sqm block. Once you pick a time I'll lock it in and confirm.

Saturday 10am works for us. Can you send the details? Also is there off-street parking?

Alex via ReverbTue 9:32 PM

Hi Priya, Saturday at 10am is confirmed for a private inspection. I’ll meet you at the front of 12 Banksia Street, Paddington. The listing I have doesn’t state whether there’s off-street parking, so I’ll confirm on arrival and show you the best place to park. Looking forward to it.

Type a message to take this thread back...Sample

Every thread, as it happens

Every conversation is readable end to end in the dashboard, while it is running.

Anyone on the account with access to that agent’s leads. · Immediate. It is the live thread.

Reply yourself

You can write into any thread from the dashboard. When you send, Reverb steps off that conversation until you put it back. If a reply is held, that draft never goes out.

The agent on that conversation. · Your send is the next message. Resume is one click on the same thread.

Stop an agent’s automation

Each agent can turn automation off for all of their own leads. In an agency account, that switch is per agent, not per lead, and not for the whole office. Stopping a single conversation is done by sending from the dashboard, not by this switch.

That agent (or an admin acting on their account). · Takes effect on the next cycle, typically within a minute.

Price guide

Will not state, estimate, or imply a price outside what is published on the listing, however the buyer phrases the question.

Always on. Not a setting. · Before the draft is written, and again before it sends.

Check before every send

No reply leaves until it has passed a check for price representations outside the advertised guide, commitments it has no authority to make, and listing facts that do not match the record. A draft that fails is not sent as written. If a verified reply cannot be produced, the buyer gets a short acknowledgement and your agent is notified.

Automatic, on every outbound reply. · Before send. A failed draft is not delivered as written.

03

Do you have access to my email and calendar?

No. Reverb is not connected to your inbox, and it is not connected to your calendar.

  1. 01

    The portal forwards the enquiry

That forwarded email is the only mail we receive. Nothing else in your mailbox is visible.

  2. 02

    Reverb writes the reply

It goes out from your agent’s allocated address on reverbprop.com, showing their name.

  3. 03

    The buyer replies to Reverb

The thread continues here so we never need to read your inbox.

  4. Not this

    Your inbox

No Gmail connection, no Microsoft connection, no IMAP. We are not in there.

That is the trade for never touching your mailbox: buyer replies come back to Reverb, not to the inbox you already live in.

A time is agreed in the email thread. A calendar invite is then emailed for your agent to accept. We do not write onto anyone’s calendar.

04

Where does my buyers’ data go?

We hold the enquiry, the thread, and what the buyer tells us: budget, timeline, and the like. That data belongs to your agency.

The models that write the replies run on zero-data-retention connections. The enquiry is not kept to train a model. If a verified reply cannot be produced, the request is not sent somewhere unvetted: the buyer gets a short acknowledgement and the enquiry goes to your agent.

If you ask which system processed a given conversation, there is a record.

The list of third parties, including where they operate, is in the privacy policy. How long we keep buyer records, and how you export or delete them, will be in that policy. It is being written now. We will not publish a generated one.
